Truthfully, I highly recommend Cozumel. Cozumel's reefs are second to none, plenty of wildlife, the prices are great, the people there are over the top friendly, competent dive masters, perfect for you & your son. I can recommend a couple of places to stay & dive with if you decide to go there.

Hello, IMHO, I would go with a Sherwood. I have two (Maximus,12 yrs. old & a Magnum, 7 yrs. old) and with proper servicing, I've never had any issues with either. They are durable, dependable, and will not cost you a fortune. Hope this helps ! Good diving & safe travels. :cool2:
