Hi, A lad I know had a fairly nasty bout of pneumonia. He seems to be fully recovered and is back to normal work duties and has no ill effects etc His doctor has allowed him to go back diving but he has to complete a number of dives up to 5metres (4 I think) followed by 2 dives up to a...
I have a friend who is an experienced diver. Recently a few hours after a 20m dive, straightforward no deco profile he had a bit of a tingle in 1 hand and 1 foot accompanied by a warm feeling. He checked himself into the chamber and had a couple of treatments over a couple of days and went...
I just acquired an MCH6 petrol driven compressor and am in the process of checking it out. It is second hand, clearly done quite a bit of work so I am going to give it a basic service and get the output tested.
I ran it up the other day after servicing the engine and it seemed ok and was...
Dear All,
Recently overhauled Alkin W32
This has had new valves and rings in all stages.
After recommissioning ran for about an hour then the 8 bar safety valve at the end of the intercooler from the first stage (ie beforethe second stage inlet) started operating.
Changed valve, same...
Has anyone come across cracks in the body of Apeks XTX 2nd stage near the venturi ring?
I was having a bit of a wet breathe and on checking my xtx 200 there was a crack, the wetness was minor and I dabbed a bit of epoxy on it. Then I got a set of xtx 200/100 in for a service. They are of an...

Hi,
Just to save me the bother has anyone got a template that I can use to keep track of servicing records.
I could build one but my XL skills are basic and it would take me soooooo long!
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Does anyone have a viable e-mail for someone at Cressi. I seem not to get a response from their online form. I am in need of service kits and spares and my local dealer who is authorised to deal with them is not interested.
I have an A700 in for a wet breathe. The Diaphram has come unseated but also seems oversized. The part number is 11.700.009. I only have stock of the 11.500.012 which seems to fit. Are they interchangeable?
The regs are not that old and were purchased fro a main dealer who were the last to...
Dear All,
I perpetually have a problem with this one. I have had several in the past that do not want to come undone. The Multitool just does not sit right and other c spanner type tools are again just not a great fit. I currently have one, the body has coma away from the main chamber and I...
Am trying to change the oring on the suunto bayonet conection. It is the internal one a 007 similar process to changing the one on a LPI which I have generally got the knack of. This one being smaller is a bit of a bastard! Anyone got s tip for achieving this without losing all my hair. Thanks

Hi
I just returned from Sharm el Sheik with Pegasus Airlines as a group of 8 people. All of our group had check in baggage within our baggage allowance however the agents charged us a further fee because our luggage included dive equipment even though we were under the allowance.
There...
I have probably serviced about 150 sets of regs so far. I would say on average about 1 in 15 I struggle with replacing the oring on the LPi hose. Most of the time I manage to pop them in in a few seconds but the odd one here and there causes problems. Has anyone got a magic fix please.
Thanks
One of our divers has just purchased a Scubapro MK11 with an S560. Postage to where we live is complicated to say the least but he ordered this for delivery to the UK from a company in Italy and then had someone bring it out to him.
Somewhere in the information there is a statement to the...
