Photos of U.S. Divers ABS Advanced Breathing System with Triple Manifold newer UDS-1

Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society uses them. They have new custom outer shells and a custom buoyancy compensator but the tanks and manifold are the USD ABS http://www.kqed.org/press/tv/cousteau/amazon/images/cousteau-amazon7.jpg I wish somebody would mass produce this kind of stuff . . .

    Washington/Oregon Craigslist bargain for somebody.

That manifold alone is well worth the $25, and then some! Those tanks bay be the the 6351 but that setup came out around 1988. It does not have the first stage regulator built into it. The yoke is not centered but offset to the right side. You can put whatever reg on it you want. 3x40cu ft = 120...

    Jet Fin vs Rocket Fin

Somebody tell me if I am dreaming . . . I thought I saw a thread somewhere, here or some other board, that talked about the difference between the "Lightning Jets" and the "Jets". I can't seem to recall if it was in regard to the compounding of the rubber or what but there was a difference...

    Aqua Lung Double Hose Regs

You might want to contact Vintage Double Hose and see if Bryan wants to buy them outright. If he does it would be quicker than waiting on an eBay auction to end and then get paid.

    USD J Valve

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but, didn't USD make a J valve with an SPG port on the LEFT side? I know other mfg made them with the port on the right, but I thought USD made one with the port on the LEFT. If so, could someone post a pic? I would like to locate one. THANKS IN ADVANCE

How is a 3-cylindered aqualung arranged?

The only other triple set that could be considered modern (1974) that I know of would be the UDS-1 setup from U. S. Divers

Seacure mouthpiece and donating your primary

DITTO! I personally don't understand how this "everybody switch mouthpieces" technique came up for OOA or how it is supposed to be superior to offering the OOA diver your octopus (with a longer hose; just the thing for this type of situation, IMHO . . .) but, in my case they are going to have to...
