Galileo Luna Transmitter Pairing Problem "HELP"

How do you delete the pairings with the smart trac software. I do not see that kind of option.

Source for more Lynx bungee cord

The Lynx case has holes for bungee mount and the unit comes with bungee cord as an alternate to the wrist band. What is the diameter of this cord and what is a source for more of it? I need more cord to replace the length supplied with the computer. But I see nothing less than 1/8" size on the...

How to reattach metal faceplate to Galileo Sol

Mine did the same thing. This must be a design flaw. I tried cyanoacrylate crazy glue but it did not last very long. Duct tape served well around the perimeter for about 50 dives. I have sent mine to Scubapro for other service problems (persistent failure to pair with tank transmitter). If I did...

Do you know about Immersion Pulmonary Edema? You should...

Is IPE less likely with a drysuit? There is no immersion in water, nor a cold shock on entry. The pressure increase from immersion is still a factor. Physiologically, drysuit immersion seems quite different. Has anyone done a differential study of dry vs. wet diving?

    Liquivision Lynx Review

800 bar? ! 800 bar is a pretty impressive tank pressure. The Lynx only works to 350 bar. Do you mean 800 psi?

Lynx ultrasonic capabilities and Desert Star sonic trackers

The Lynx uses ultrasonic waves for its location, text messaging and for tank to computer communication. Are these ultrasonic signals compatible with, or different from the ultrasonic frequencies or coding used by the Desert Star Scout or Sport Dive trackers or other Desert Star systems? I have a...

UK Custom Diver waterproof canister CDFFC

I have one with about 100 dives on it, to depths of 35 meters, and have had no problems at all. The only tricky thing with these is not to tighten them too much before diving. If you do, once cooled down at depth it will be very hard to reopen when back topside. The instructions tell you to...

    Hydrooptix Dive Mask

I have a silver one in very good condition. I'm not sure whether it is the s3 skirt. I will sell it to you for $100 if you pay shipping. I live in Laguna Beach, CA so you can judge shipping. I will throw in the light blue hard case and all the accessories for no extra charge.

    Help for a Mac owner

On my brand new Mountain Lion Macbook Air, with Parallels installed and running Windows 7 under it, the Nautilus Lifeline drivers do not install successfully. This is true even if I use the latest driver installer from the NL website and the latest version of the NL software. Thus, the radio is...

Dry suit - if money was no object!

My Bare Trilam HD Pro is the best suit I have dived. Bombproof. Rear zip but easy to work with a buddy and without the extra fabric of the Trilam HD Tech. And these suits are Canadian with great service. Brass zippers. I have seen the plastic zippers of the SB fail. Go Bare Trilam HD Pro (rear...

    Wreck Alley 3/31

If you are still on the fence about diving Wreck Alley, we can still find room for one or 2 more divers. At the moment, it looks like the weather will not be bad (should be cloudy). And with the current water temps locally, it won't really be any colder down at Wwreck Alley than locally. This is...

Can only dive 50ft, is it worth it?

I would talk to DAN and get a second opinion from a doctor. You may want to consult a pulmonary doctor. With the injury and removal of part of your lung you may have an increased risk of obstructions, gas embolism, etc. Your issues might be bone related or with your lungs. The doctor has to know...

Anyone use the heart rate monitor on their sol ?

I use it on every dive, dry suit and wet suit dives. Works great. Heart rate information is quite helpful in making sure you are monitoring your workload. Signal rarely drops and has nothing to do with the tissue saturation calculations. This is a unique computer with this heart rate monitor.

Suunto DM4 issue with cable compatibility

The change to detect only OEM cables took place in the transition to DM3. You just skipped a release generation to discover this "feature".
