I have to disagree with you Mike. Auburn does what they've proven to do best... and that is come back. They got a slow start as their defense learned Utah. Once they got going it was over. Utah had no answer for their power at the end. My only big gripe was the field goal fake that Auburn...
St Andrews is indeed night divable with out camping. Just either need a Florida State Park pass with the current number codes, or simply enter the park before it closes and wait. Enter at dusk/predusk and take your time gearing up and by the time you splash, you'll have your night dive...
Whatever buddy :eyes:
EDIT - Responding to What was added later into post.
Again. What ever pal. You seem to be missing the point and going off subject. Not saying anyone isn't a stand up guy. Have I attacked anyone? No. Just making sure Sea Divers doesn't get hurt by a flame war on...
The point was, not everyone is perfect and people often garner wrong preconceived notions of people and businesses they have never met. No disrespect to Todd as I believe what he says, but mini rants on the internet (even when 110% true) can unjustly and severely damage a dive shop...
Sea Divers has been in the area quite a bit longer, and if an 80+ year old woman wants to go off on a tangent then so be it. I only wish Im not only diving, but runnng a dive shop at that age.
To be fair Im a customer of both Sea Divers and the Dive Locker and both owners have their faults...
I honestly couldn't tell you where we put in. We met at the park just north of the bridge on 79 and he drove us and our gear upstream. Didnt really pay attention to where we went. The paddle to Cypress was pretty brief. He estimated it at a quarter mile... Id say a little longer but either way...
In that case I have no problem being out of touch with reality ;)
Speaking of, Al at the livery was saying there are other sites to dive on or just off Holmes creek. Any info? :eyebrow:
Rented a canoe from Al at the Livery today and enjoyed a great dive at Cypress. Headed over to Becton and turned around. Decided not to make our first dive at a new place while the river was up. Hopefully next time. Again, the info was certainly appreciated from all! Was definitely a nice...
Dove Morrison today. Although not gin clear (it does have a hint of tanic brown still) the vis was excellent. Could see the platform easily from the basin...
Also, be warned. The Ponce de Leon area schools must be out for spring break as the locals have returned. Or maybe they just don't...
What's the deal on the best/easiest place to rent a canoe, and also the best place to put in at? Ive heard conflicting reports of who's still in business and who's not.
Also, how long (time wise) does it take to get to Cypress?
Thanks Mike - Yes, below 6ft is best, but when the river is warm Ive dove it up to 8.5ft at the Caryville reading and had great dives. Nasty up top; Just have to get below it. And, like Kevin said makes for some great views underneath.
I was hoping to dive it next weekend but if the tanic...
