Two years ago, I had a 3 hour layover at EWR coming back from Paris and continuing on to West Palm Beach.
We got in on time, and 4 1/2 days later, JetBlew got us back down to Floriduh.
During our extended tour of the greater New York/New Jersey metropolitan area layover, we got to see Elizabeth...
I make it a rule not to eat seafood underwater. I think it’s rude and to do that with fishes swimming around and seeing some inbred scubadude macking on their schoolmates would set a new level of barbarity.
Last month I went skydiving and took my dog along. On the way, I needed gas but forgot my...
Geez Louise, you wait long enough and everything cycles back. I have all this guy's stuff and used to touch base with him from time decades ago, and time just flew by. He disappeared, I never knew who Cale was, and Bryan, the guy on VDH went and died...when are bellbottoms coming back?
Years and years ago, I had a friend in Honolulu who flew in B-29’s during Korea as well. He told me a story of one mission where the crew chief was fixing something down in the bomb bay when a newbie onboard cycled the door system which opened the bomb bay doors.
Frank said he had eye contact...
I didn’t wallow through all the posts, so I hope you’re ok.
Cebu was where I went down the wall to some unknown depth and blew all the blood vessels in my eyes so the whites turned bright red a few days later back in Olongapo in Subic Bay.
Jeez, what a great dive, narced out of my gourd on air...
I tried getting back to Cebu after I retired from the Navy, but it’s just too far from Floriduh. It’s like getting to Palau from here…easier to get shot into space from here than get all the way out there.
I was logged onto a law enforcement site reading about a contest like this coincidentally taking place at the same time and location called “Shooting Unarmed Suspects Evading Arrest in an Obstacle Course.”
Afterwards, people can wander out to Jacksonville Beach and commiserate with the grounded...
Buy a SeaDoo…you just flushed the purchase price down the drain. I‘ve ~~>had<~~ two.
Buy a BlackTip, you have something. I have two of these babies myself.
I escaped Bristol in 1971.
To quote Chris Berman, “The best view of Bristol is in your rearview mirror on your way out.”
My uncle in Plymouth had a Cessna 152 that we used to take to Fishers Island. Just taxi out to Race Point, spearfish, and fly on back to the airport in Meridan and get an...
I typed in newd.scubaboard.com by mistake and got directed to the clothing-optional site. The office server thought that I was looking at porn on company time so I got fired for that. Oh well…
I had a pair of fragrant grandpas who passed in the 1950’s and 60’s.
I still remember those, ah, aromas. Grandkids never forget that…
Geez, now I wonder what smells I emit these days now that I’m older than they were when they passed.
When I pick up my Nobel Prize, I am going to make sure to go diving in Norway.
Geez, that water looked --->cold! Liked the trip report and photos. Thanks.
I had two drysuits for diving in south Florida...can't say that I was ever cold but I never got too warm either. Lofoten always looks...
If you can get a good deal on a drysuit from the closing dive shop,I’d jump on it. It’ll give you a good incentive to follow through on your diving endeavors.
You’re in the UK so make that “endeavours” whilst I’m at it.
Good luck with your training.
