Wow that is an expensive class. I just took the Mares Lab and that was $175.00 and that included more then just regs; it was a two day class that was worth the money.
There is no one in the area that sells them, wouldn't the class have to be done at an authorized dealer?

I have been thinking about purchasing an underwater camera or housing. Currently I own a Canon PowerShot A710 in which I know they sell housings for; however with something like this can you use a strobe with it?

That is what I was thinking, and didn't want to shell out $500 right now so I figured someone else could profit better then I would. With all the gear you have been buying it may be something you can use in the near future.
Maybe this is a stupid question, but why is it the VA Beach aquarium runs things differently then? I don't believe they any particular dive shop affiliation.
