I dive LP95s and I was just thinking:no:..... When the DM says back on the boat with 750LB on your gage they are usually dealing with HP80s and 3000PSI tanks. My LPs are full with 2400 PSI so when I am back on the boat with 750, I have just over half used tanks. Does anyone know of a formula for...
You might try going up to Thunder Reef in Vancouver/Hazel Dell area and introduce yourself to Jen. She does allot of Sunday club dives and does quite a few Monday dives also.
HAHA ya I don't expect to ever see it again but I thought I would ask, she lost her snorkel and later that day another diver staying in the same B&B found it. Ya There was some um....."discussion" about the dive jewelry.
OK here's one for all the Bonaire Divers. on 7-5-09 my wife lost a white gold and diamond "Dolphin" wrap (ring), she thinks at Angel City during our entry, but the tittle has the other dives we did that day. It has blue diamonds in it for eyes. It was her anniversary gift a few years ago on one...
We just returned yesterday from or second trip to Bonaire, our first was in Sept. of 2008 and we left the week before Omar passed by. From what I could tell most of the damage to be seen was above 20' with the northern sites showing more than southern. I did notice a lack of Moray Eels, I didn't...
Flooded my camera and now I am wondering if one of the newer sealife models will work in my housing.
I haven't figured out if it was due to dirt or a failed o-ring yet but the housing appears to be in one piece so I was thinking of upgrading cameras.
Wife and I saw a small (4 to 6' wing span) Manta at Andrea 1&2 last August in about 20' just as we started our dive.
We did the Kona night dive the year before and had 18 on the evening we did it.
I think they run a touch small, I have a size 15 dry-suit boot and an xl atomic split, it is a snug fit, But i do have big feet. Other mfg. fins seemed to have more room when I was trying them on. I do like the fins tho, they are quite a bit stiffer than my Oceanic V12's

What are some other great shore dive destinations besides Bonaire? I have been to Bonaire and would love to go back, but it is a hike to get there.
Is there any place else that comes close?
I am not opposed to boat diving, I just find I appreciate the freedom of shore diving more and i...
After the first dive I have a SI some snacks and maybe something to wash it down with, get ready and gear up for the second dive pull that cold clammy hood on and then....... do battle with my soggy gloves.
For me this usually involves a few choice words muttered under my breath coming close...
I have never found it to be that cold in the winter, it is my favorite time to dive up there. I did it in a wet suit for 2+ yrs before going dry.
As previously mentioned if 45F in a wet suit is OK for you it shouldn't be a problem, just wear a jacket on the surface intervals thats where it...
