I'm heading there in a couple weeks, too. I've hooked up with one of the local shops, and have been talking with Sydney from Minimax. No problem with communication, though I think they usually cater to the Japanese groups. I'll post up on the experience when I return.

There isn't any diving around Incheon area. East coast weekend trips are easy/common to do, if based around Seoul area. Relatively easy to fly down to Jeju as well, but you would want a few more days to make it worthwhile with your no-fly time factored in.

I use bicycle chainring bolts. They work very well. You get a set of 5 for about $10-25, depending on their material and bike shop you hit. Be sure to get titanium, stainless steel or anodized alu, instead of cheap steel that'll rust.

I've been using one of the alu plates. Just swapped a Zeagle 34lb wing out for an Oxy MachV 18lb. Awesome setup for travelling and warm water. The raw alu wasn't liking the seawater so much, so I pollished it up and anodized it when I did up a bunch of bike parts. Turned out good. :)

I started with a Ranger, and only use it for classes now, just because I have it. Warm water sees me in a backplate with Oxycheq Mach V 18lb. Packs light and small. Perfect for travelling. You don't need to be diving cold water to appreciate the benefits... If I had to buy my gear all over...

The Go-Pros are great little units. Quite a few of my mountainbiking friends use them to make vids. I didn't know their case had such a deep depth rating, I can definately see picking up a HD unit myself for diving/biking/skydiving.

Yeah, I'll be at Mike's new place. Have been in contact with him for a bit. 2 or 3 of us are heading over to that general area from Oct 20-31. Figure that we'll stay at Mike's for diving/biking, and maybe bounce over to Siquijor for a couple days since we're in the area... Always happy to...
