I will be in Singapore and Pasir Gudang at the end of July 2022. I will have one or two weekends available for some diving. I am a technical diver, Prism 2 Tec 100. Any good wreck dives in the area? What about a dive shop that assists CCR divers?
Thank you in advance,
Working from home. Taking a few days of vacation for some training dives on my new CCR. Like riding a bicycle, but someone substituted it with a unicycle.
The real maximum time limit is if you take a decompression hit. The time is 48 hours after your last ride in the chamber. So, if you are on holiday. Take a DCS hit, you must re-book your flights for 48 hours after your last chamber ride has been completed. I understand this as being the maximum.

Divers who have not been trained for decompression dives, do not know what they do not know.
All dives are decompression dives. A recreational diver can blow a three minute safety stop or not hold the correct depth. However, once you go into decompression, the risks are exponential. A diver...
Not possible CO would cause both, since first victim was snorkeling. Most likely not CO at all, but two separate medical incidences. Must again wait for ME report.
I was responding to "safety stops". We do "safety stops", independent of the gas used, to reduce the chance of a DCS hit. This of course assumes that you do not go into DECO, then it is a mandatory stop and not a "suggested" stop.
The "safety stop" is a decompression stop. Why do we do a "safety stop"? To reduce the chance of having a DCS hit. Why do we wait 24 hours prior to flying? To reduce the chance of having a DCS hit. Why dive EAN? To reduce the chance of having a DCS hit.

I was certified about 10 years ago and lived south of Chicago. Completed book work in the early winter. Flew to Hawaii for my Open Water Certification. I hate quarry diving, so only dived when an ocean was accessible. Either a 3/2 or 7 mm wet suite for Southern Cali.
I moved from the Midwest...
