febuary stayed at grand maya right next to your resort. dove with wetset out of puerto morelos. you can catch a collectivo for 25 pesos to playa or puerto. loco gringo . com has lots of info on the area. the cenotes trip will be an all day event. also the dive shops like you to do ocean dives...

when in playa i dive with playascuba.com. one dive you must do is tortugas. the turtles and tarpin are something to see.my top cenote dives are ,grand cenote, dos ohos, the pit and calavara. have fun.

some bones and charcol at 135 feet in the pit. all good dives.

did 3-2 tanks with wetset last week . location, gear, staff and bottom time were great. my favorite dive was the wreck because of the school of eagle rays. you will not go wrong with wetset. 3-2 tanks with gear 160$. good luck.

did 3-2 tank dives with wet set for 160$. puerto morlas was a short collectivo ride and then a 2$ cab ride to shop. gear was included. good outfit with small group first day then the owner and i for other days. favorite dive was the wreck , got some good photos of school of eagle rays. well...

get the better stuff. snorkel,fins,mask,maybe a 3 mil wetsuit.you are not to far from akumal that has some good dive shops. good luck.

get a map from cancunmap.com lots of info for the money. a good restaurant is la tarraya right on the beach next to were jason loads the dive boat. no need to rent a car. we like to spend a whole day in tulum. ruins, grand cenote, and the beach you wont be sorry. good luck.
