IMO, Eduardo is a very knowledgeable/experienced diver. Of course i only talk to him a few times a year when im down at vortex. I enjoy talking and learning from his conversations. its amazing all the small little tips and details he has told me about diving. but then again im not the most...
The human desire to push the limits will never go away. Especially if your young. Even older doing something new or relatively new. I didnt start out driving 70mph but one day i took the on ramp to the highway even though safer slower routes exist. Snow skiing i started out on the bunny hill...

Went diving yesterday and notice a small leak around the base of the air knob. Its a. 1972 scuba pro LP 77. Anyone know the neck thread size or is it the same as new valves? Can they be rebuilt?
bump.
i may be heading that way for a veterans day dive. If anyone wants to meet me let me know. I may need help zipping my wetsuit since it tends to shrink this time of year.
Just dropped off two tanks born in 1971 last inspected in 1973. had not been used since. some air was in them. never been hydrod since the initial.
What are the odds that they will be able to brought back into service? :dontknow: inspection and hydro. Anyone with a similar experience...
i have integrated and i like it. in fact i only have two hoses. primary and inflator/integrated. hoseless computer. my reg doesnt look like an octopus with all the hoses hanging off of it.
I have a couple of scubapro (i think) regs from the early 70's they have only one high pressure...
they are great.
Oceanic is great. My first VT3 was off by ten degrees on temp. They replaced with another one. That one did that altitude thing and lost link. Sent it back got brand new one. over a 100 dives later no replacement of batteries and I cant think of a time it lost signal.
My computer showed a two degree drop at 20-22 feet. I got seperated from the group looking for lost treasure. My max depth was 52' with a temp of 53 degrees. The sunglasses are Bolle they have been down a long time. dont thing i can get off all the gunk on the lenses with scratching them...

i just have 4 stroke 70hp yamaha. top speed might be 25mph. but with 24 gallons of fuel i have made about 40 mile trips on i think about half of tank. so if squiresmj wants to blast ahead and scout out some sites we may be able to get good info on traffic before we get there on mine
anyone want to plan a get together? dont know what water temp is. get a bunch of tanks and some knowledgable locals and we can do some exploring and treasure hunting. as long as it is sunny and at least in the 70's we should be able to warm up nice between dives.
