Even better news. I don't have to send the unit back to where it was purchased. It will be returned to Mares through the local authorized dealer and I will have a new one sent out as soon as they receive mine. Can't complain about the service. So far top notch.

Just got an email from Brad. Seems to be a software issue and I will be sending the unit back for a replacement. Hopefully this cures the issue. Customer service seems to be alive and well at Mares. Stay tuned.

Mike, Another great dive. Vis 40ft + an inch or two. Never seen that many rays on one dive. Plus the turtle. And the big wow factor, being able to get within 25 yards of 3 Humpbacks. No words could explain the feeing or excitement. I could stop diving today. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out Dive House out of the Fiesta American Reef. I believe they have a working office in town. I have dove with them dozens of times and they are a first class operation. They don't run "cattle cars" and cater to every level of diver.

I was actually going to use some light blue gels on the lights and not change the white balance. I do this when I shoot production work on land. Not the blue filters but ones that match the existing lighting as fill.

Thanks, I have reloaded it back into FCP and am knocking the saturation levels back. It was shot on a Sony HC-9 HDV camera with a red filter. My white balance cards did not get to me in time to take.
