We spent two weeks diving with Devotion2Ocean and they were great. The other two wrecks around were more fun. the sculpture garden is cool too.

I've got the same question about the lenses and any suggestions on the brand for a red filter? I'm fitting my HF20 and WP-v1 with a ULCS tray and handle on the left and an extension on the right so I can mount two FIX lights that I used to use as focus lights on my D70/Subal rig. We'll see...

We were at Sunset for the Curacao Dive festival last year which is annually just before this period and when we returned one of our friends told us that they had sixty divers for that week.

I've stayed at the Plaza three times and Buddy's once. I prefered the diving with Toucan at the Plaza. But if you are young and want to shlep tanks around doing shore dives alot then it's hard to beat the Buddy's Drive and Dive deal.

I just had the opportunity to go diving with a gentleman who dove frequently with Cousteau and Falco (sp) in 1954 and received his divemaster cert from Club Med in 1959. Great stories.

I have been diving in Cayman at that time of the year for about 15 years and I usually dive a .5mm ScubaPro steamsuit. I would think the 3mm would be just fine, but the 5mm might be too much. YMMV TedJ

Can anyone tell me about the Bird Rock Beach Hotel? BarbaraJ and I are planning to go there next January and all of a sudden lots of terrible reviews are showing up. How about the dive operation there as well? Thanks, TedJ

Silicon grease and a TUSA Hyperdry Imprex w/purge maks has workd great for me for 20 years or so. Just don't use vaseline it'll damage the silicon in the mask.

Returned from Curacao two weeks ago. No bugs, no need for repellent, although we sprayed a little bit around our ankles at dinner time outside. Been to Bonaire three times and never had bug problems. Aruba once, same no bugs. All these trips have been in the late summer, early fall if that...
