    New Tec Turbo Sole

We do not have wide sizes in the turbo boots as the soles are molded and we only have so many sizes. The neo sock used with the rock boots is usually better for really wide feet as the sock will stretch and conform to the foot. The rock boots are relatively adjustable also as you can snug them...

Help! Need quick advice for wet wife in new 30/30!

HI Jim! Glad you to hear your wife is getting the 3030 dialed in. I remember you folks from Gilboa. As for the insulation question, I use the DUI Eco Divewear in 80+ temperatures. It wicks very well and is super comfortable. I would try that for the warmer temps. It is also a great layer to...

30/30 in warm water, am I sweating or do I have a leak?

I tend to agree the group that it is most likely tendon issues that are causing this. I just used my 3030 in the Phillipines and had the same thing happen. Diving from a small boat where you need to hand up your gear while holding onto the rope will definitely make the tendons flex! I also...

    Different DUI models

A CF200 or FLX 5050 takes 4 weeks due to the crushing process. The fabric suits take 3 weeks. We are usually faster than that though but don't tell everyone! Thanks Faith

    Different DUI models

You can definitely get a CLX top on the 50/50. I misunderstood your question. We call it a CLX 50/50. Hope that helps. Hope you are doing well. We are all thinking of you and wish the best for you and your countrymen. faith

    Different DUI models

The top of the FLX 5050 is made of the same material as the entire FLX Extreme- polyester trilaminate. The CLX is a much stiffer cordura trilaminate. Hope this helps. And by the way, hi Burhan! faith

    Different DUI models

Wow. That is a big topic! I will try to give you an overview, but feel free to call the factory for more detail. Most of our suits are made of some type of trilaminate material- three layers of material. The TLS350 is made of a high tenasity nylon that is very light, smooth and flexible. It...

    zipseal

We are working diligently on testing. Our goal is not only a silicone seal that will work with our zip ring system but one that is more durable. While we have made great progress, none of our samples to date have met our rigorous standards. It is the number one priority of our R and D department...

    30/30 question

I would leave it. It shouldn't hurt anything! faith

    30/30 question

Most people using the 3030 for all or most of their diving end up with turbo soles on the suit for greater durability and less concern about changing out ankle seals. They are no harder to change out than traditional wrist seals but it is something you would not want to do on most dive boats. As...

    Rock Boots Sizing

If the sock is the proper fit and you are wearing Polartec socks for insulation, you should fit the same size as your normal shoe size. If the sock is not fitted for your foot or you are wearing thicker insulation, such as the XM450 socks, you may need a size 9. Hope this helps! Faith

    CLX450 vs FLX Extreme

The range of options can certainly get confusing. The CLX450 is a cordura top with polyester bottom. The FLX Extreme is all polyester with cordura knee overlays so the weight and durability is in between the TLS350 and CLX450. The FLX 5050 is has a polyester top and crushed neoprene bottoms...

    Status on Silicone Zip Seals

The new seals are still in testing. We need to make sure the seals are as durable as we need and the locking mechanism will work with our zipseals. The wrists are further along than the neck. I would estimate a mid to late summer official release. Thanks for the interest. We are excited too...

What adhesive is used by DUI for the suspender tabs?

We do sell the glue though it is only in larger quantities as it is oriented toward dealers. I believe IB Divers stocks it though. Ocean Enterprises may as well. They might be able to sell a partially used can. Hope this helps. Thanks Faith

    Buoyancy difference between suits

There should not be any changes. Hope you enjoy the new suit.:D Faith

    silicon seals

Not sure on the latex hoods yet. We do not have any way yet of attaching a hood to the new ring. Doesn't mean it won't be done but we have not worked too hard on it yet as we are perfecting the new mold still. Keep an eye out on this forum for updates. Thanks Faith

    Turbosoles & High arches

That is an interesting question. I would be very interested in hearing what others have done. I wonder if there would be a problem with your fins and kicking with an insert. Would be great to hear from others on this one. Personally I have that same problem and have cured it by using rock boots...

    silicon seals

Ah, that is a great question. At this time, we do not have a way of molding a silicone dry hood onto the silicone neck ring. We will work on it though it is not the highest priority as most of our customers who use attached latex hoods are public safety divers. And silicone seals will probably...

    Buoyancy difference between suits

Good question! We get this one a lot as everyone thinks of neoprene as buoyant. However, crushed neoprene has no buoyancy whatsoever. As a matter of fact it is slightly negatively buoyant. The nylon on the outside of the suit can trap a few bubbles of air, but once that works itself out, there...

What adhesive is used by DUI for the suspender tabs?

We use a glue called urethane 1027 but it should not be a problem to use bostic. We use three thin coats on each side and then press together. If you live in San Diego, you are also welcome to drop it by the factory and we will take care of it for you. Hope this helps. Faith
