We have stayed at the Vista Del Mar several times and love it. If you don't mind the cruise ship shoppers (easily avoided by spending most of your time underwater), they have nice, clean and comfortable ocean view rooms, good showers, mini fridge, a very friendly staff, and some yummy rolls...

Severe dry land syndrome. Crying leads to puffy eyes....dry, sensitive skin is much more prone to rashes, and salt water irritation when not immersed at proper intervals. Poor feet get too used to dry socks, and then a week in the booties and fins turns them into mush. Take me to the river...

In Coz.- try the Vista Del Mar. We've always gotten great rates, try booking through Expedia or Orbitz. It is a nice place, very clean- and right in town. You can walk to many inexpensive and yummy local restaurants. Breakfast is included (coffee, rolls, jam, juice.. nothing fancy, but...

I always thought the post-dive snot rockets were part of the sport... who can blow the biggest? the farthest? Can you do it in a stealthy way, so it goes unnoticed? (bonus points for that) I actually thought about it..once... before submerging my head to clear the nose... can the other divers...
