Just read this in the manual. Let's see if this fixes the problem
Picture too bright (over exposed) when using external flash accessory.
Camera setting not optomized
Select Ext Flash Auto mode.
Select “macro Flash” [Press the flash button] to darken the picture exposure level.

Thanks joe. The first picture, flash and dive mode,the second flash and video light. I love the light, the crab was difficult to get to, would not have been able to get to it, if I did not have the video light. Pulled the video light and was able to light up the area.

I've been using my contacts for over five years while diving. I flooded my mask the first time to see how it would feel. Yes it burned like hell, but honestly for me it was that first time. I've cleared flooded masks and have had no problems. I did change contacts for underwater activities...
Sorry for your disappointment and frustration. I just added the video light and used it two weeks ago in grand cayman and loved it. I did not have any problems at all.
Yes you can switch to different modes while in the case and adjust white balance etc. No it does not come with an editing software. It's a great camera.
The Crab photo I used the Video Light and Flash. The Flamingo was natural lighting (no flash and no video light). I will post video later on today (not able to do it from work)
