Its really hard to go wrong with atomic. As long as service is locally available id say to go with them, if your diving cold or dirty go with an b2 or sealed z2 otherwise, basic z2 will be great. Or look just that much cooler and get an m1 or t2x :-D

IM interested in getting into sidemount diving, problem is there are no instructors or divers at the shop I frequent to guide me in the setup and use. If there are any local divers that could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Mike

The swim test just didn't seem that difficult if you push yourself, I think maybe people are just getting too psyched out for it. Give it a try and give it your all. I'm not in excellent swimming shape by any means but just forced myself to try and got a 3, I'm sure most could do the same...

well almost, i can rent regs at 50% discount, and once I'm a Divemaster i can get a discount, but not cost or keyman that's for instructors and shop employees, the shop has way too many divemasters for discounts like that.
