Summer time in the islands, June, July starts slowing and August and September are virtually a dead stop, alot of places even take that time to close.

Well got back from St Maarten about a week ago and things we a bit on the hectic side getting back in to the old Rat Race.

When you are in St Maarten there are a couple great shops. To be honest it really depends on what you are looking for in a dive shop. Not every diver is suited for every dive shop.
Octopus Diving is an excellent shop I have booked some of my people there and they had nothing but good things...

I am inclined to agree with Tadzio, with one exception Ocean Explorers can be challenging depending on you physical condition. If you have problem getting on or off of small boats. But other than that great dive shop and great people I know them personally.
