    Who has had to bailout?

yes!! I have to say it was the most horrible feeling I’ve ever felt well Diving for me. I felt like I was breathing normal but I was told later that I was hyperventilating. the funny thing is I had no idea how hard I was breathing

To me it just felt like I could not get enough gas to breathe and anxiety. I actually tore/ broke the neoprene the neck of my wet suit when I had breakthrough on my scrubber... they kept feeling like it was too tight on my neck and I couldn’t get enough gas in my lungs . I was definitely...

Gross, disgusting behaviour on the boat

That's completely disgusting! I agree and have seen a diver do that on the boat deck here in Hawaii where we all are walking around with bare feet...even more disgusting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Chasing paper? Or competence?

Deco lite? Seriously? You could really hurt yourself diving doubles with no ' formal' training and diving rec gear and pushing the limits. Course standards are there for a reason...to prevent unnecessary death and injury. Hope you have plenty of health insurance and life insurance to cover...

    LDS Incompetence

There is nothing wrong with taking a class to learn how to dive dry if you ever been in a drysuit before. There are quite a few more ways you can get hurt if the dry suit does not fit you correctly, or if you don't know how to use it. People have died from diving with a dry suit that's too...

Black fins with spring heel strap for photography & potentially strong current?

Jetfins don't give you much power against a current, you will kick until your thighs burn out and go no where. I like any longer fin that isn't a split fin, for kicking against current. Mares volo is comfy and quite powerful for use against a current. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Air Integrated Dive Computers and SPG's

After taking hundreds of people diving here in Hawaii, I have seen wireless systems fail to read tank pressure or read incorrectly too many times. Always have a backup SPG and hose either on and clipped off or in your dive bag. Seen too many people already at the boat , haven't looked at their...

    How to reduce air consumption?

Bamafan... That's called skip breathing and you might notice a headache after you dive Donna this. That's because breathing like that ( anything other than regular breathing) will cause you CO2 to build up in your body like crazy. Not a good thing to do at all. Just dive with a larger tank if...
