I am not serving yet but within the next two years (after finishing college) will be joining the U.S. Coast Guard and hope to dive for them. They do their dive training through the NAVY. Sorry if my original post was misleading.

I bought a set or regs online from leisurepro but was unaware that they were not under warranty (i know now), so my LDS sold me regs at a matched price and also offered to pay to have the regs i bought online to be sent back.

I just purchased a used Luxfer tank, AL 63 with an original hydro test date of 6/86. but it has current hydro date of 6/07 and a current visual. should i be worried about the recall on the tanks?

I'm new to diving, but I thought that the tunnel thing should have been discussed during pre-dive planning, Isn't that the whole point to planning a dive is to make your group or buddy aware of what is going to happen on the dive?

I have the Ocean Master Titanium Blunt Tip knife, its not the sharpest knife ever but it gets the job done, cutting through most types of rope and fishing lines. (i say most because i haven't tried them all)
