There are a couple of things.
First, we had an 8 foot bull shark messing with us while we were spearfishing last summer. My buddy shot an amberjack that probably weighed 30lbs. He was pulling in the spear, with the fish still attached and the shark came out of nowhere and snatched the fish...
I just took my regulator in for it's yearly service. I went to pick it up and the bill was over $100. I was charged $70 labor plus parts. I know, I should have kept up with the warranty paperwork for the reg but I didn't. The parts didn't bother me, it was the labor. Now I have seen posts...
I've seen this mask on another diver that went with us on a dive boat. The mask is to say the least strange looking. But the woman that had it loved it. I just don't think I could put something that ugly on my face. I'm ugly enough already I don't need any help from that mask
I have a Princeton tech shockwave and you can use it out of the water. It doesn't hurt it at all. I use mine all the time when I need a really bright light.
If you are just diving in lakes I think you will like the twin jets. Alot of power with very little effort. The jets are a very powerful fin but unless you frog kick they will wear you out pretty quickly. Just my 2 cents
I have already built a canister light with the 12v 7 amp SLA battery. I works great but it's a little bulky for my taste. I was wanting to make a smaller canister light out of 2" or 3" PVC but I don't know what kind of batteries to use and how many. Any help would be appreciated.
Panama City is great. Warm water, lots of wrecks, artificial reefs a few natural reefs and tons of spearfishing and lobsters. Also close to several springs and caves if you are into cave diving
I've been scalloping in steinhatchee several times and I don't think I've ever seen a scalloping "charter". Most people just get on their small boats and go out. The water is very shallow so I don't know how a larger charter boat would do it. But don't take my word for it search it on the...
Go to you local auto parts store and get one of there shumaker chargers. There are several different types. I can't remember what the part # is but it was the smallest one they had and on the package said it was great for SLA batteries. I think it was about $25.00. I've used mine for a...
You have to be careful around shell island. You have to know where the state parks ends if you want to do any type of spearing or anything like that. Also I have never seen any bugs around shell island. I don't think it's deep enough.
