For free there is DaVinci Resolve, very powerful and needs some pretty hefty computer power. I use Adobe Premier Elements. Get the job done for simple edits. If you work in the educational field or have a student the educators discount is a pretty good deal.

Well there is always post color correction. Not ideal but doable

Even lights won't help with wide angle scenes. Us the low light setting it works every well for me.

Thanks Otter, I'm not sure if the TG5 shoots 4K but I'm really only interested in 1080. I'll have to look if you can manually set the wht balance.

Have you tried shooting video with it? I just watched a video from Backscatter on best settings for shooting video underwater. My son has a TG-5 that i'm thinking about borrowing.

What settings are you using? I have had great results with the green water filter. I dive around Long island NY the capital of green water.

Adobe Premier Elements is a great low cost solution. All the videos on my YouTube channel John Schwedes were edited with Premier Elements except the 2 time lapse movies.

I bring my clips into GoPro Studio and do rough trimming and use the Protune color correction then export the clips. I edit in Premiere Elements.

You can delete the audio track in post when editing and add a music track. There are lots of sources for royalty free music. But i have been thinking of maybe just turning the volume of that audio track down so it is just audible and lay some music in another track. So the result will be the...
