Looking for Dive Buddy (here til Aug 10)

A lot of the Maui SB'ers are working divers, and working divers are pretty much diving with clients non-stop right now. The boats are mostly full so stand by discounts for locals are non existent. We have had a couple years with limited tourists, and now it is finally busy again. If one...

    Split fins?

I seldom look at my scubaboard so sorry, but because I have split fins I thought I would put in my two shells worth. I have been diving for years and in the beginning with a full wetsuit I had mini rockets. For me they were big heavy and just what I got used to. When I began wearing a shoe...

    Lost in the shuffle

Some local Maui businesses might pump many tanks to lease or share with other dive businesses. Mine has been missing now going on 3 months. The business that my tank was taken too no longer has a retail business. They are at the mercy of an honest person returning it. I have been asking...

Never too late to go Green

I can elaborate, but what I experienced was many years ago and I am sure we have all been educated in the past 20 years. Before moving to Maui, my husband and I vacationed here for many years. He didn't dive so I was on my own to find and go diving with the various groups available at the...

Never too late to go Green

I heard a rumor Ed Robinson was going green or at least helpful to the Reef. Many moons ago when I dove with that group it was never about the safety of the reef or marine critters. So mahalo and good on ya for what ever reasons. JB

Is it their season or what? The little shrimp obviously live in these reefs year round. Nice shots as usual.

Great Mala wreck dive with ScubaDrew

Wow Steve, Great day at the Mala. Last time I was there was a day not to be there. Can't wait to dive it with you . the shore dive is equally as good except for the mud and sand near the boat ramp.
