I agree a 2000LM plus video light makes a big difference. I also have a Big Blue Black Molly 3 (2600 Lumens) and really like it. Its just an expensive light but, well worth it.

Great video, thanks for sharing. I have lots of pics from that lookout point but, have never tried to dive it. Looks like the dive is well worth the hike to get down there.
Have dove with LD on 3 trips to Maui. I find them to be very professional and they go out of their way to make sure you are safe when diving. I really like their dive boats. Very comfortable and stable. Exits and entrances on the boat are very easy. I will dive with them again.
I have my GoPro on a pole. Another option to consider. The pole extends out to about 3 feet. Works great for selfies and to get close to creatures without scaring them off.
I have a swivel mount on the end of my pole for selfies. It mounts the camera up and forward of the pole so, no problems with getting the pole in any pics.
