Australia: More swimmers & surfers than divers are attacked by sharks..... that's because they are mistaken for prey at the surface...er, divers are on the surface at times. But it's a small % of time compared to swimmers and surfers....however, often times divers are on the surface in deep water where many more sharks tend to be. So what does that stat mean?
 
Most of those things are true, to one degree or another. They're not myths.
