Well saturday proved to be the best day to dive this weekend, so we went sunday???
The weather has been sketchy all season and sunday proved no different. We left the dock at 6am amid small rollers and light breezes, 1/2 way there we were taking spray over the wheelhouse, 10-15knots out of the west? Big rollers a steady 5 foot with the nice ones around 6-7. We arrived and wallowed around awhile and hooked the wreck. I had not felt well all week and thumbed the dive prior to entry along with two others. Three hearty souls splashed and did short 45 min run times into the abyss. The report was 20 for vis, 46 for temp, and dinner was no where to be found. Diver 3 managed to get 12 or 14 scallops, hardly a meal. We were back at the dock by 4pm and dreaming of better seas and bottom temps to come.
