i am looking to buy a stainless steel backplate, one fabricted from either 316 or 316L alloy. but i don't like the DSS plastic inserts. will entertain any other offers, from any brand. please pm me with your interest!

no one has a highland millworks, xs scuba, or hammerhead plate they would part with? are there any other brands that fabricate from 316 i'm forgetting? halcyon, oms, dss, and dive right use different alloys ...

I have a shiney SS one that still has the $175 price tag on it. Hollis Brand. Not sure what the alloy is but it is polished to a mirror finish...you can see yourself in it.

i think i have one... it has no logo on it and it has a pebbly finish... looks like an oms in its cut

The Hollis website lists it as 316 stainless. 117 shipped new at most of your standard online dealers
