You should try EVA sometime. This is Premium Economy to Taiwan. (I know this trip you said you have some diving plans en route.) Just sometime, if you haven't already.

Thanks for the info. I'll consider this alternative route for my next trip to Raja Ampat in January 2020.

FYI, I made our ROF itinerary & airfare comparison among SingaporeAir , Eva, and Emirates, as shown, below. The cheapest one is SingaporeAir for $793 with 28h & 2 stop (in MAN & SIN) flight. Next is Eva for $1130 with 25h & 1 stop (in TPE) flight. The last one is Emirates for $1484 with 30h & 1 stop (in DXB) flight.

We choose Emirates this time because we want to visit Dubai & dive in Fujairah & Oman on the way to ROF.
