Pretty damn sad, same state of affairs in areas of the Baltic sea and also closer to the UK in the north sea. Apparently, these areas expand and contract according to run off levels and algae blooms linked to sunlight intensity. Unfortunately the situation is generally getting worse worldwide.
 
It's a sad commentary on the state of the Oceans and Seas. We all need to do everything we can to educate landlocked colleagues on the risk we face of losing a fantastic (and as yet largely untapped) natural resource.
