Canadian tourist returns home

If this is truly the case, then these folks were NOT on a tourist bus, they were on a chicken bus or an interurbano bus. These are the buses that are PRIME targets for the maras (gangs). When they want to send a message to the present Honduran administration in Tegucigalpa, they'll shoot up a bus. That was what December 2004 was all about - a message about gang crackdowns. It must have gotten through since this incident received minimal coveage in the press here inspite of a policeman being killed in the attack. This is very unusual since a cop killing generally garners front page attention complete with photos.
