Ok, just to add a chuckle...

A few weeks ago a teammate and I were diving a public lake in central va under a fishing pier in about 5 foot viz. We were in AGA's w/ OTS comms. I start hearing "ca you hea me now followed by the sound of his laughing...

Summagun was holding an early 90's cell phone to his FFM and doing a "can you hear me now" ad. Good thing I was in a spring suit instead of a viking, since I had a nice warm water flush as i laughed myself to tears.

opps, can a mod put this in the PSD forum? Thanks.

I lost a buddy once in a quarry, only to find a phone booth down there I had never seen before. Unfortunately, I did not have any quarters.

wonder if long distance charges apply vertically?

Viablackwater,

How do you like the AGA with comm gear? A long time ago, I had a dream of building a scuba unit with comm gear--that was in the early 1970s. I still have not fulfilled that dream.

Our team just made the transition to AGAs w/ comms, and they make an incredible difference. Currently we have 3 sets, and we're ordering 6 more.

John,

PM sent.

Regards,

John
