Not really, Bob, as the metal regulators are chrome-plated brass (mostly), and the metal,mouthpiece bands were stainless steel.

No worries.

I’ve run across a few, they always comment how cool the metal regs are, my best translation from the vernacular of the day.

I also let them know that if they have more interest, ScubaBoard is a great place to look for more information on metal regs or anything scuba.
