One of the greatest aspects of CHUM has always been the generosity and willingness to pitch in when the chips are down.
Many of you have seen the gofundme campaign to support our good friends on the Fling. It's been heartwarming to know so many CHUMmers have donated to the cause and we were fortunate to have some funds that we were able to donate in the club's name as well.
A very generous anonymous member has recently approached the BOD with a matching proposition.
Starting right now, the member will match dollar for dollar, up to $500, any new donations sent to CHUM, which will be combined and donated to the Fling's "Keep the Boat Afloat" gofundme campaign in CHUM's name. Matchable donations need to be made by Friday, June 5th.
The same member will be making a personal donation above and beyond the matching to the same cause.
