lube, they're dynamic o-rings. Don't slather it in there because you don't want lube to get in the bourdon tube, but you do want them fairly liberally lubed. Far more than you do on any other o-rings outside of the first stage

Here goes anyways.

What lube do the responders prefer and why? Kristo Lube (sp) or non-petroleum silicone grease?

PS: I have always used silicone grease.
 
Glad I asked (sad re memory), thanks. Was typing "which (best) lube" before markmud intervened. He actually posed the question better that I was going to.
 
I've always used silicone grease on o-rings with good results.

I like the Dow product but this, too, is a good quality grease and with a convenient flip-cap:
