About to replace air spool, and can't remember; lube or no-lube on 0-rings.

DOW 111, it was the standard until nitox became popular and like tbone said, it's fine for rec nitrox as well as air.
 
Found the white silicone in basement and used that.......... I think its time to straighten out the basement....... where did all this scuba STUFF come from? It looks like a bridge-troll has been living down there.
 
I only use MCG111 in all my scuba gear, silicone is too difficult to remove.
I do lube the O-rings on the air spool.
 
I prefer to use any lube that comes in a hand pump.
