Absolutely no idea what these are... Please help.

I find them regularly in the shallow water around Pattaya area (northern Gulf of Siam, Thailand).

It's Oceanapia sagitaria. Common name: Puff-ball sponge
How about that!

I see them in Utah all the time. Commonly found in tropical drinks.
