Anyway, where can I find information or does anyone know if there is an adaptor for DAN or ANDI O2 Regulator that allows it to connect to a CGA-540 valve and/or the standard scuba tank valve (yoke or DIN)?

Also, is there an adaptor for the standard CGA-540 regulator that allows it to be used on a yoke/DIN valve?

THANKS!

Only the old style O2 regulator can be readily adapted to SCUBA. These are the chrome plated, beautifully forged types with twin gauges. The 540 oxygen connector is screwed into the regulator body (1/4" pipe thread). Carefully remove the connector by gripping the end of the oxygen nipple with a wrench. This has six flats like a nut so it is easy. Purchase a yoke or DIN with 1/4" female thread and also buy a 1/4" brass male/male pipe nipple. These can be screwed directly into the regulator body. Be sure to seal with teflon tape. You are ready to mount your regulator to a SCUBA tank. The parts are widely available such as with Northeast Scuba Supply, etc.

A couple more comments on the above. When you replace the original 540 connector you will lose the brass filter inside the pipe. Perhaps this can be replaced with something, not sure. If you wish, you can avoid having to buy a threaded yoke. Find an old yoke or DIN pressure gauge. Remove the gauge. You now have a yoke or DIN adapter which will connect to your O2 regulator with the addition of a 1/4" male nipple. The nipple, which is a piece of brass pipe threaded on both ends, can be found at hardware stores. Make sure that the brass is fairly thick because of the pressure involved. Rince the parts in solvent or detergent to clean.
