looking for a quick 5 day trip over the July 4th weekend and looking for some suggestions. unfortunately we will have to drive the 5 hours to Denver as we are on the western slope and there dont appear to be any great deals to go to Cozumel....... so RMO's 5 day easy trip.... warm sand and salt water are the only real requirements......

I just booked a RT on Frontier DEN-Cancun for $399 (June 14-21) yesterday. That included ALL the taxes, etc. It's a 2 hr. bus/ferry to Coz, but I'll be in the water for a late afternoon dive on the first day! All things considered, the best place to dive in Colorado is Cozumel.

Check out TX and the Gulf of Mexico, they always have boats going out to the oil rigs and there is also the flower gardens. Not as pretty as Coz but it's warm and it's salt water.
