FWIW, Citizen service will generally cost you more than a Casio watch. But Seiko service will cost more than the Citizen watch.(G)

And as every Rolex repairman will tell you, "waterproof" means new O-rings and gaskets, sometimes front, rear, and crown as well as all buttons, replaced every YEAR to maintain warranty. Every two years to maintain reasonable reliability.

Something to be said for the $40 Casio, which only hurts briefly if it floods.
