Thanks for that last post Bridgediver.... That was full of helpful information that I can bring back to my team and I think it will really help evolve our training and real world dive operations.

It really started to make a lot of sense to me with the tether. At first as you can see I was rather partial to the wireless coms but now my position has definitely changed due to all of the positive safety benefits that the tether would offer us especially with the black water that we are normally diving in.

I would have to agree with your last quote about the entanglements being an inconvenience and not life threatening. I always preach to our guys that if they become entangled to breath and think it thru.
