Hi,
I am having trouble removing the battery cover to change the battery on my Aladin Square dive computer. Do I need a special tool to remove it? I notice it has a small hole each side of the bit that a screwdriver would fit into.

Screwdriver or coin? Is the slot flat bottomed (screwdriver) or rounded (coin).

Its round, but a real bugger to undo without damaging the battery cover
If it is round, then do not use a screwdiver, use the largest coin or washer that fits in the groove. You want your "tool" to have the most contact surface possible. For leverage simply grip the coin with a pair of pliers making sure you press down to keep the coin in the slot.

I managed to get mine sorted. In the end I found a pair of pliers. The tips of the pliers fitted the two small holes. Then the hatch cover came off easily.
