Yeah, maybe a Blackfin Hogfish. Picture doesn't really show the ventral and anal fins well, which would be part of the ID. Black spot is too big for the Hawaiian Hogfish, which I think is only found in Hawaii anyway.
 
Hawaiian is an endemic but this one can be its cousin, B. bilunulatus or something.
