Thanks for sharing the pictures. The AD is on my list for 2004 or 2005. In the meantime, I really appreciate your post.

The U-853 is my favorite wreck. However, 120 is conservative. I've hit 135 on the sand while exploring the vicinity. The interior is most cool.

What boat are you using for the dive. Some of the NY/NJ boats make yearly (or more often) trips. Rhode Island boats go more regularly because the ride is so short.

Yes we have an attorney who has done all the legal work.
But we where also informed that the area is just outside Portuguese waters on International waters. Even better for us!
 
WOWWWWW, hopefully some day....

I will love to do a dive like that, whenever I am ready but it seems very very complicated to even plan.
