Great photos! I live in this area and seeing the local life from an "outsider's" perspective gives me a new appreciation for it.
It really is some of the best diving anywhere. I think others would love it more if they could get past the cold water and heavier gear thing. I would much rather dive the PNW than somewhere where you have to get used to the heat and humidity plus the long plane rides just to see the same animals you would see at hundreds of other resorts. I guess I get bored too easily. It's hard to get bored when a wolf eel with a head the size of a basketball comes right up to you.

Great report! I've been making a trip or two out there almost every year since 1987 I think. I maintain it's some of the best diving in the world...

Corrections from my posts;
I labeled Solaster stimpsoni as Rose star, Crossaster papposus. That was because I forgot to post this photo,

The crab, identified as Acantholithodes hispidus is actually Phyllolithodes papillosus.

I've had a few days to work on a few more images if you can stand it.

Fabulous pics... I especially like the tube anemone shot. I think wolf eels are one of the coolest critters up there.

Glad to hear there are offers on the table. Have been reading about God's Pocket for a couple of years; bought my first dry suit a few months ago partially to make a trip there and other destinations in the PNW.
