We had just finished dinner and I retired to the reading room when I hear the little black irritant go ballistic. It reads; VEHICLE IN THE WATER AFTER ACCIDENT H97 MINERAL RIDGE 5:20PM 07/10/07.
At 1721 Im in the car, in service and in route for roughly a 25 mile trip in commute traffic. I come out from behind the house lit up and making noise. I hit the street repaving two strips on it with all the neighbors watching when dispatch cancels us.
Turns out, there was no vehicle in the water and I have no idea as to what happened.
Back to finish what I was doing.

Update: One of our deputies was out on his boat in the area of the accident. He said the hit and went to the bank side of the roadway and didnt get near the water.
