Hello:
We will be doing another free try technical diving session in February 2020.
Last years session had 5 participants, 4 of which went on to enroll in at least TEC 40 and 1 of which went on all the way to full hypoxic trimix.
During the session, participants have the opportunity to use backmounted manifold doubles, Diverite backplates and wings, xDeep stealth 2.0 sidemount rigs, and deco bottles. We will be diving in a pool with 13 feet of water.
There is no charge for the session, but suitability and reservations must be made in advance. To reduce the number of no shows that occurred for the last session, participants must come to the shop at least one week in advance to complete the liability paperwork.
The session will include an introduction to technical diving concepts, technical diving gear, and the use of technical diving gear under supervision in deep water in the pool.
Participants must be at AOW or higher and nitrox certified or be willing to obtain those certifications. Participants must also have their own mask, fins, boots, and wetsuit.
