Midnight... beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Truck in pond, occupant out and talking. Get dressed, drive 10 minutes, stood down by dispatch. That's the norm lately. That's a good thing but it's getting old.

That is a good thing but it does get old. Was the driver drunk?

Just remember that one of them will be for real and someone just might live to see another day because you responded.

We get 30 to 40 of those in a normal year on top of I think it was 27 actual dives last year off pages. That's not counting the planned stuff.

We quit doing set day pager tests. They used to be on Monday at 0800 hours. The problem was a couple of times the pager went off when it should have and it was a real callout that most of us didn't pay much attention to. Now we do the tests during training when everyone is together.

These are good. At least they are thinking about the team and getting them rolling in the early stages. Mucho betta than waiting toooooo long.
