I just read "The Last Dive" and loved it. I was wondering if anybody else has read any good non-fiction diving books that they would recommend.

Just do a search and you will find tons..

I would go for "Deep Descent" next if you liked "The Last Dive"..

I would agree, I just finished Deep Descent.

It wasn't a great work of literature or anything, but as a diver it really should be a must read - especially for a novice diver (like myself). It gives you a real vivid picture of the hazards of diving beyond your limits. So many lives lost for nothing........ Good for helping you keep your perspective as a recreational diver.

Besides Deep Descent (great book, imo), I'd recommend Submerged by Daniel Lenihan. I'm reading it now and it's a good read.

Last dive is a great book. I have a buddy who rethought his urges to get into tech diving after reading that one.
