Even with the clearance from both ophthalmologists I'd be leery diving with only one eye, having that sort of history. Sort of reminds me of TV commercial where something horrible happens to a patient and the doctor says I've got good news and bad news- bad news is you're going to die but the good news is I saved 10% on my car insurance.
